The Rab Men’s Microlight Shield Waterproof Down Jacket combines down insulation with a waterproof outer, reducing the need to carry separate insulated and waterproof layers in cold, wet conditions. Its 20D Pertex® Shield 2-layer construction has a 20,000mm hydrostatic head and 20,000g/m²/24hrs breathability rating, giving it genuine weather protection alongside useful warmth.
Inside, 700 fill-power recycled down with a Grangers hydrophobic finish provides insulation, with larger micro baffles positioned for warmth and smaller nano baffles used around the sides and underarms to reduce bulk and support movement. Fully articulated sleeves further improve mobility for hill walking and general outdoor use.
An adjustable hood with integrated peak, internally elasticated cuffs and a drawcord-adjustable hem help seal out poor weather. Two insulated hand pockets and a zipped chest pocket provide practical storage, while the YKK® VISLON® AquaGuard® front zip is backed by an insulated baffle. Allweathers stocks the jacket in Dark Army and Galaxy Blue.
