Blundstone 500 Chelsea Boots (Original Series) – Stout Brown
The Blundstone #500 Stout Brown is the original Chelsea boot that helped establish Blundstone’s reputation for practical, hard-wearing footwear. Made from premium water-resistant full-grain leather, it combines a timeless round-toe design with the durability and comfort needed for everyday wear, whether you are outdoors, travelling or heading into town.
The pull-on design, elastic side panels and signature front and rear pull-tabs make the #500 easy to wear, while its lightweight construction, cushioned midsole and SPS Max Comfort system help reduce impact underfoot. The thicker Stout Brown leather starts with a firmer feel and gradually softens and moulds to your foot with wear.
Fit Advice
The Blundstone #500 runs true to size and has a snugger fit across the top of the boot and toe area. We recommend starting with your usual size. If you have a wider foot or prefer additional room, choose a Blundstone half-size, which provides extra width rather than additional length. The thicker leather will soften and conform more closely to your foot over time.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find the right fit for the Blundstone #500 boots?
The #500 runs true to size and has a firmer fit across the top of the boot and toe area. We recommend starting with your usual size. If you have a wider foot or prefer additional room, consider a Blundstone half-size, which increases width rather than length.
Are the Blundstone #500 boots fully waterproof?
The premium full-grain leather is water-resistant rather than fully waterproof, so the boots are well suited to normal wet-weather use but are not designed for prolonged submersion.
Do the Blundstone #500 boots need breaking in?
The #500 uses thicker leather and can feel firmer when new, particularly across the top of the foot and toe area. With regular wear, the leather gradually softens and moulds more closely to your foot.
Is the Blundstone #500 part of the Classic series?
No. The #500 is part of Blundstone’s Originals series. The Classic series is a separate range with different construction and comfort features.
