The Barbour Bedale Short Waxed Jacket is a shorter-length version of the Bedale, reworking a classic piece of Barbour countrywear with a more modern silhouette and a tailored fit. The outer is made from lightweight 100% waxed cotton, which gives the jacket its traditional waxed finish and provides weather resistance; periodic re-waxing helps to maintain that protection.
Inside, the body is lined in tartan-patterned cotton, while the sleeves have a polyester lining. Corduroy trims the collar, which has a tab to close it at the throat on blustery days. The jacket fastens with a front zip and has handwarmer pockets, two storage pockets and an internal pocket, and adjusters at the lower hem and cuffs allow the fit to be fine-tuned. Suited to outdoor pursuits and everyday town wear alike, it can be worn over knitwear on cooler days or with a shirt for a smarter look.
