The Beaufort truly is the ultimate, classic all-year-round jacket. Made with mediumweight 6oz Thornproof waxed cotton and featuring Velcro wind cuffs and the recognisable studded corduroy collar, the Beaufort is made to work hard in all weathers. The classic-fit jacket features a chunky two-way Barbour ring-pull zip and studded ‘Stormfly’ close front, two generous bellows pockets and two waist-height moleskin handwarmer pockets for everyday practicality. Optional items include detachable hood and liner.

A great jacket but difficult sizing

This is my second Barbour Beaufort jacket. The jacket itself is top quality and is one of the three(?) Jackets still made in England. Sizing is confusing, the Beaufort I ordered was size 42, but this has nothing to do with chest size I am medium build 5.10 and should be one 4 sizes smaller according to the internets sizing. Barbour are also unhelpful with sizing. Allweathers had a good price and dispatched fast with no fuss
